Preparing your contribution
The conference will include plenary (35+5 min), invited (25+5 min) lectures and contributed papers. The latter will be accepted either as oral presentations (15+5 min)or as posters. Submission of abstracts will be accepted until April, 30th 2012. The final decision on the acceptance of a paper as an oral presentation or as a poster will be made by the Local Organizing Committee, following a peer review by the International Advisory Board. A notification of acceptance will be provided by June, 10 2012. The official conference language is English.
Abstract format
Abstracts should be supplied in an MS Word compatible format. Abstracts must be typed in English, with the maximum length of one A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) page on one side. Abstracts should be formatted in a 1.5 space format, in Arial font size 11 point. Pages should have 25 mm margins (top and bottom) and 30 mm (left and right). No headers or footers should be used.
All abstract submissions should contain a title, author(s)’ name(s), and author(s)’ affiliation institution(s), country and e-mail address, centered on the page, with a line on top and bottom from the text.
The title of the paper should be typed in Capitals (Arial font, boldface, size 16 point). The author(s)’ name(s), and author(s)’ affiliation institution(s), country and e-mail address should be typed in Arial font size 11 point. The name of the author who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication should be clearly underlined. The list of keywords (5, maximum) should appear afterwards and, finally, the text (250 words, maximum) formatted in a 1.5 space format, in Arial font size 11 point. References are counted as text.
The abstracts of all accepted papers either as oral presentations or as posters will be printed in the Booklet of Abstracts of the Conference.

Abstract Submission
After the preparation of your abstract please mail it to Abstract_TOFA2012@ge.cnr.it. Please fill the Object of your mail with “Surname_Name_Abstract”
Poster Format
Abstracts scheduled for presentation in poster sessions will be grouped by topic, numbered and listed in the Final Program. The poster boards will be numbered in accordance with the program
Poster Guidelines
Each poster may be a maximum of 90 cm high x 70 cm wide
Posters will be presented in the hall in front of the Conference room
To attach posters, gluepads will be available in the poster area
